The deer near our cabins have had so many handouts over the years that they are practically domesticated. We watched as a group of kids got the deer to take Doritos right from their mouths! Of course we did not agree with their choice of food and encouraged our girls to think of something that the deer might be able to find in nature, we came up with carrots and Livy (with the help of her daddy) found the courage to feed one of our visitors.
